Blueprint at DKOU 2025

Oct 31, 2025

Blueprint was strongly represented at this year’s DKOU, the German Congress for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery in Berlin, where three of our Co-Founders contributed insights into emerging research and translational developments in orthopedics and trauma surgery. The conference provided an excellent platform for engaging with leading clinicians and researchers and for discussing the latest innovations in biomaterials and regenerative therapies.

Our CTO Janina Stadter presented her work on hierarchically structured biomaterials designed to stimulate endogenous bone regeneration without the use of bone grafts or growth factors. Her research demonstrates how engineered materials can activate intrinsic regenerative pathways, opening new possibilities for less invasive and more sustainable treatment strategies.

Our CRO Ansgar Petersen focused on guiding bone healing through biomaterial architecture, emphasizing the decisive role structural design plays in supporting tissue regeneration. His presentation offered valuable perspectives for translating foundational research into clinical applications and for developing materials that actively contribute to healing.

Advisory Board Member Georg Duda shared his experience in translating scientific discoveries into clinical practice, highlighting incubators and translational hubs such as CLIC. He illustrated how these structures help close the gap between laboratory innovation and patient care, and he recognized Blueprint as a team committed to advancing clinical innovation through close cooperation with translational ecosystems.

For Blueprint, DKOU 2025 was a valuable opportunity to present our work, connect with the clinical and research community and gain new perspectives that support our mission to translate scientific progress into meaningful clinical outcomes.
