Just one day after the Berlin Bio Innovation Day and the Coming to America event, our CEO Aaron and CBO Felix traveled south to Heidelberg to participate in the Life Science Investor Day 2025 on September 25th. Hosted at the Business Development Center Heidelberg, the event brought together 25 innovative start-ups, 70 investors, and key players from the life science ecosystem, all sharing the goal of advancing innovation in biotech, medtech, diagnostics, and health tech.

In a tightly scheduled program featuring start-up pitches and investor introductions, Blueprint Biomed presented its vision and patented biomaterials designed to enhance bone healing. Beyond the formal sessions, the event provided valuable opportunities for exchange with founders, investors, and stakeholders from across southern Germany. We particularly enjoyed insightful discussions with the team from InnoZell, who are pioneering preclinical testing platforms that eliminate the need for animal models, as well as with several other innovators tackling pressing challenges in healthcare.

The day was characterized by an inspiring mix of perspectives and expertise, emphasizing collaboration between start-ups, investors, and industry experts. It also reflected the strength of Europe’s interconnected life science ecosystem, many participants having just returned from events in Berlin and other innovation hubs, contributing fresh ideas and momentum to the dialogue.
